Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on the 31st October 1979. The most well-known character she has played is that of the deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy show Eureka. Cerra is from Italian heritage and was born in Vancouver in British Columbia. When she was a kid Cerra was featured in a variety of advertisements and was drawn to acting. Her acting career was not as successful during a period of time. However, in 2001 she returned in the business at age 22 years old. Her credits include roles as a lead on several critically and popularly recognized television shows such as Battlestar Galactica. Film credits include Blade:Trinity, starring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck, and Man About Town. Cerras face and body was utilized as models for the character of Ashley Williams in the Mass Effect franchise that includes video games.
